Job Description

As a Business Analyst within the area Loan Products & Payments (part of Financing tribe) you work in a squad who work on applications for our wholesale customers with the aim to improve the overall customer experience.

Department and Project context

The Wholesale & Rural (W&R) domain within IT Systems supports the wholesale and rural bank across the globe. W&R is divided into 3 different tribes: Markets & Treasury, Financing and CBD (Clients, Bankers and Data services). Within the Financing tribe the Loan Products & Payment area will focus on executing the Core Banking Transformation (CBT) programme, one of the important strategic programmes within the Wholesale & Rural organisation. We will make it easy for our clients to do business with the bank by focussing on simplified operational processes, data value creation, automation of the risk controls and by driving (digital) innovations. The area is working closely together with strategic programs within other domains to realize the bank’s digital transformation.

Squad Global Facilities is responsible the facilities, collaterals and covenants. We are the owner of the Facilities-module of the system and work closely with the other squads. The team members are very diverse in backgrounds, experiences and cultures. Most communication will be in English as the end-users, team members and other stakeholders reside on different locations across the globe.

• By bringing your own experience of financial systems implementation and digitisation to support users and product owner in creating and refining the backlog and solutions

• Important to think in outcome (what’s true value) for our Business

• In identifying functional and non-functional requirements;

• In capturing and drafting priorities for requirements together with your team and your product owner;

• In representing customer and end-user interests by gathering input from stakeholders to understand the problem to be solved;

• In challenging stakeholders on requirements

• In combining one or more (technical) specialties with ability to translate needs into outcomes;

• In contributing in your team by doing the work really doing together (cross functional)

Your profile

• A degree in the field of Computer Sciences or Business Administration

• Has experience with aligning with Business (so can have a business mindset to think in outcome/value for our business)

• Experience in Oracle Flexcube (preferable ELCM/Facility-module)

• Has affinity with the Facilities business

• (at least) basic testing skills

• Is able to identify and implement process improvements

• Worked in a comparable enterprise environment (complex system/banking)

• Has clear communication in English (written and verbal)

• Has basic knowledge of Azure-Devops (pré)

• Work in a cross-functional team. So responsible for all the work that the team is committing (so business analyse as testing if needed).
