e current team consist of 6 DevOps Engineers, 1 Product Owner and a Scrum Master

Goal

As a Senior Full stack DevOps Engineer within our tribe, you will be working and experimenting with the latest technologies. We make IT and you will provide our stakeholders the best solution that is re-usable, maintainable, modifiable, and compliant to our architecture principles and security standards. Your goal with your team is to deliver business value quickly to our customers. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for all the IT components. You will handle connectivity provisioning in the most challenging and complex provider networks of the Netherlands. Think of security, maintainability, availability, stability, and quality of our network.

Activities and responsibilities

• Programming: Create and maintain clean code. You will coach other developers to deliver high quality IT. You will continuously improve code and seek ways to improve the quality, scalability, and maintainability with the goal to lower TCO.

• Lead the technical team: Provide direction to a team of DevOps engineers. You design and advise on technical IT solutions.

• Solution design: Translate complex network business requirements into generic IT4TI solutions.

• Documentation and communication: you provide excellent documentation and give demos to our stakeholders.

• DevOps activities: CI/CD, Docker, Testing, Monitoring, and operations.

Hard skills

• Programming: Minimum of 5+ years of recent experience with Java (11+) and its frameworks i.e. (Spring 5+). Preferably a Full Stack Developer with DevOps experience and knowledge working with Angular is a major plus.

• Programming: You have a good understanding of object-oriented principles, data structures, algorithms, design patterns and able to demonstrate them with ease.

• Solution design: You understand the customer needs and have experience in translating this into an IT design.

• Technology complexity: You have experience with complex enterprise technology. Experience in the Telco industry is a big plus.

• Perhaps some knowledge of, or interest in the following tech-stuff: CI/CD Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Test Driven Development, Design Patterns, Kafka.
